Proton Exora will be launched next week, 15 April and today EKC would like to share a photo of Proton Exora without any plastic covers. We believe that this photo was taken at Proton main plant in Shah Alam by one of their staff of course.

While the order now almost 2000 units, this photo of course will give the customer more confidence. For me the design is pretty nice and give the competitor a run of their money.

Proton MPV Latest Spyshot

Unlike our earlier posting on Proton MPV, this is real and without any camouflage. Eventhough, the photos doesn’t show the rear side but I think at this point of time, its just more than enough.

I think this photo was taken by the staff or could be the visitor or even the vendor at the manufacturing line in Shah Alam.

I give 5 star for the design, not bad and just like previous persona and saga, this will be another best selling from proton and of course avanza, livina killer. what do you think ?

Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback

The WRX Subaru Impreza rivals is now coming to reality. Nextautos posted the spied photo of Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback spotted doing road testing in Michigan.

What customer can expect in this model is a Ralliart version of it. Eventhough, not much details was released by MMC but this sportsback is believed to be powered by the same turbocharged 2.0-liter MIVEC four equipped, similar engine you can find in the sedan which capable to deliver 237hp, 253lb-ft of torque.

This comes with Mitsubishi’s new Twin-Clutch SST transmission and Active Center Differential.

PDRM Mitsubishi Evolution X Spyshot

In our earlier post , we reported that PDRM has bought 25 Mitsubishi Evolution X as their patrol car. Today, we received which I can classified as spyshot of this powerful machine.

Based on this photo, we believed that we don’t have to wait long to see this on the road. If this become reality, PDRM will join very few police in the world to use Evolution X.

It will be nicer if they use Ings kit

For info, this car powered by 2.0l turbocharged engine which develops powerful 280hp !

Proton MPV Spy Shots

It was no secret that Proton will release their first and brand new MPV sometime in March or April next year. Since then, we have seen many so called real photo of this MPV. No one has actually confirmed the design etc. However, since last months, many blogs/websites has posted spy shot of this MPV taken during their road testing all over Malaysia. Internal people said that more than 30 units has been produced for testing purposes and as usual this unit will be on camouflage.

From the photo, many will agreed that this MPV’s design is not bad at all. Given right price, we believe that it will be another success for Proton. However, what remains mystery is of course on the powertrain. Will it be powered by 1.6 CPS campro or what ? Again, Proton is expected to use whatever engine that they have for the time being until their very first Turbo Charged Campro ready for production which is expected in 2010.

What we heard before is Proton uses Toyota Wish as a benchmarking for their MPV. What we hope that the benchmarking shall not limited to the design, size etc, but what important is on the quality, right & handling, performance and also fuel consumption. Looking at the recent launched Saga BLM, you might heard in other blogs, that its consume high fuel even though on standard factory setting without any mod. This could be the major challenge for Proton actually …

New Myvi Facelift ?

What do you think of this Myvi ? Is it a real myvi ? or just another creative job done by our fiber shop ? I really can’t confirm this, but I can say that this new facelift really nice and its high time for Perodua to come out with this model after been hit by the Saga by PROTON recently.

New Proton MPV

Some people say this is what PROTON will produce next year, it could be true and it just another artist impression. But if the spyshots is the real Proton MPV , I would say they have done a great job at least from the design.

My 2 cents

Based on my judgement on the 3rd photo : Since they plan to produce in 2009 which is long way to go, I don’t think they will test drive the car whithout comouflage

New Proton Saga

New SAGA begins

The latest Proton Saga BLM is now open for bookings at their dealer nationwide. The price as reported by TV3 for this 1.3l sedan is between RM30,000 to RM35,000. Official launch is expected to be held sometime mid this month.

The new Proton Saga will be available in 7 colours (i.e Zircon Green, Metallic Black, Granite Grey, Genetic Silver, Chilli Red, Solid White, and Blue. ) The booking can also be done online at Proton Edar website.

Eventhough, Proton has not release any full photo of this new model, but through google search you will find some actual image of it. I attached some for you to consider.
