Review : Proton Satria Neo R3 Lotus Racing Edition
Proton today launched the limited unit of 25 units Proton Satria Neo R3 Lotus Racing Edition. Based on history of Proton, they have started this R3 version with their last bacth Satria Model. That was many years ago.
And today, this Proton Satria Neo R3 has the touch of Lotus Racing. Powered still by the 1.6 litre CamPro CPS engine tuned by R3 Team, utilising Engine Management System (EMS), performance camshaft, carbon fiber air take and titanium exhaust headers.
With all the modification, Proton claims that this Neo R3 capable in delivering 145bhp an additional of 25hp compared to the standard Neo.
The price tagged for this model is RM115,000.00 ! the 25 units represents Proton’s 25th anniversary. The concern could be on the price as with that amount of money, you can get buy many other powerful car eventhough on the second hand market.
Anyway its up he fan of proton to decide, what I heard Proton has secured a sum of 11 booking for this model in 1 day.

This machine supposed to priced at sub RM80k…to much paying for quoted price just for getting the add-on hi performance item for such not too powerful machine like this.
i believe handling superb..
but too expansive for ordinary ppl such like me.
The premium price probably because are made only 25 pieces. So you want to have it , must pay.
