Kelab Autoshow’s ProtonMania Challenge

April 15th, 2007: Proton Centre of Excellence, Subang Jaya.
It was a warm and lazy Sunday morning but it soon got hot and crazy when about 100 Proton I.C.E./Spit Fire/Modified cars came and heated things up at Kelab Autoshow’s ProtonMania Challenge at Proton’s Centre of Excellence, Subang Jaya. It’s ProtonMania!
Let’s get this party started. Yeahh! This time it was all about Proton Crazy Car Mods, people. We had the Modified Car Challenge, I.C.E. Cun Showdown, Spit Fire Face-Off, Best Car Airbrush Competition and the search for the best of the best: “King of ProtonMania”.
The live airbrush demonstration by BK Yap of Racing Art Studio was a big hit with everyone. We got to watch the pro in action as he did a really cool design of an eagle on the front hood of a Savvy, courtesy of Proton!
The Famous Guys…
eh..ehh…looks like some of our members got into the spotlight! KA saw Wan (Kereta Ganas), Mr. Alien(King of THe Road), Siva, (King of The Hill) and Jazman (King of Protonmania) being interviewed by RTM’s Hello on 2, NTV7, ASTRO AEC Channel 19 and NST’s Cars, Bikes & Trucks.
Proton’s cool concept chopper “Stingray” made a special appearance and stole a lot of attention during ProtonMania. KA’s gals were totally wowed by it! Va-va-vrooom! What can I say? Chicks dig Big Bikes & Cool Cars…
A lot of spectators walked away with cool freebies during the Ronda Ronda Proton DJ. All they had to do was answer a simple trivia question on Proton to win a prize!
