Why many people choose AE86 as a drift car ? Based on my interview with one of the drfiter during the D1, the answer is so simple AE86 has a sweet shape and can drift very well and is one of the most well known drift car in the world, and of course its RWD
Eventhough it may lack of power compared to other turbocharged drift cars but is still good at drifting. The fact that we cant denied was AE86 featured in many main drift events with people winning events with it.

AE86 also known as Hachi-roku in Japan which means Eight Six (86). The AE86 was first produced in 1984 in Japan with 2 versions i.e. Levin and Trueno. The Trueno had pop up headlights.
